Hello everyone – and welcome to another exciting edition of Free Tool Friday! Every week, we cover a free tool aimed at making your indie studio more productive than ever before, and today’s tool is aimed at not only helping you to remain productive, but to also keep your communications secured. We’re talking about Hall: one of the best free messaging platforms for the security-conscious!

The great thing about Hall is how flexible the tool can be. Whether you need to message a group of people (there’s no limit on the group size) or you need to speak to someone one-on-one, Hall allows you to do so on multiple devices: Windows, Mac, Web, Android, or iOS. Conversations are synced to all devices too, so you never have to miss out on any conversation!

What sets Hall apart from communicating via an instant messaging tool such as Skype or even via traditional email is how secure it actually is. When you have a conversation in Hall, you never have to worry about a third-party snooping on your conversation and recording everything that is being said. Everything that takes place within Hall stays in Hall thanks to their emphasis on encrypting your data when it travels to and from the Hall cloud, as well as when the conversations are stored within Hall. If security is of the utmost importance to you, it’s the tool you need to be using for conversing – plus, it’s light, user-friendly, and makes communicating and sharing relevant content simple!

That’s it for this week’s edition of Free Tool Friday! Do you have a free tool you want to see mentioned in a future installment? Let us know in the comments below!
