The top four rated iOS games for the month of February are vastly different from each other. The number-themed brain teaser simply called Threes!, snagged the number one position on the top ten lists proving that gamers still love a good puzzler. Watch out, Candy Crush Saga! The second highest ranked game was Out There, a sci-fi themed choose your own adventure style game where players explore the deep outer regions of space. The game is surprisingly number one on the Android top games chart.

Holding strong at number three is Square Enix’s premium app version of the popular console game Final Fantasy VI. Proving that whether it’s free or pricey $15.99 USD gamers will play and continue to engage with the games that they really feel connected to it. Coming in fourth place for the iOS is Stubies. This puzzler is fast-paced with colorful lego-like block creatures strolling across the screen, players must quickly match them together without allowing them to fall off the platform.

On Android’s top 10 lists the retro style RPG, Pixel Dungeon ranks second. In Brave Frontier players enter yet another pixilated world, as a hero chosen to defeat evil fallen Gods and bring order back to the lands. Similar to Pixel Dungeon, it’s a classic style role-playing game. That genre appears to be performing better with players on the Android platform than iOS, which is interesting.
