At the Pocket Gamer Connect 2014 conference recently, it was revealed by Saad Choudri of Miniclip that the popular South Korean video game Arrow from developing studio Four Thirty Three is headed to the West.
Arrow is a multiplayer battler in which players wage war via bow and arrow. The game has achieved ample success on the Korean App store by maintain a consecutive position at the top of the Top Grossing Charts.
“We’re very proud of this partnership” said Choudri during the Korea-themed portion of the conference. He also commented by saying, “We talk a lot about Western games coming to the East, but there’s a lot of scope to bring Eastern games to the West.”
The verdict isn’t out yet on whether or not the title will perform as well in the West but after the PGC presentation, Choudri suggested that Miniclip often “has success with that play pattern.”
