Game Connection 2014 (America) will be held in the San Francisco area this coming March with more than 300 different influential publishers and developers scheduled to attend. Today on their official website they revealed some of the top names that will be joining this year’s summit. Representatives from Activision Blizzard, Alawar Entertainment, Big Fish Games, Capcom, Chillingo, EA Games, Glu, InnoGames, Nickelodeon, Microsoft Studios, Ubisoft, Sony, VG, and other major players will be at the event this spring.
The conference was established in 2001 as a meeting ground for video games professionals to converse and network. It’s held each year in Europe, US, and Asia on different days. During the game conference individuals can view various exhibits, participate in workshops, or attend master classes. Developers often flock to this event annually for the opportunity to network with over 1800 industry professionals from development groups from around the world. It’s one of the few occasions where it’s okay to promote your game, services or skills to not only peers but other pros in the gaming industry.
To make the event fun and less overwhelming, especially for first-time attendees, Game Connection has created a Meeting Application that allows users to easily research the exhibitors and attendees that will be at the conference. It’s extremely user-friendly and has several advanced features that permit individuals to schedule meetings with specific companies and organize appointments set for the big day.
If you’re interested in attending the Game Connection America 2014, it will be running March 17 through the 19th at the San Francisco’s Sir Francis Drake Hotel. Tickets are still available. Visit their website for registration information and a tutorial of their Meeting Application program.
